Here at the Wessex Kidney Patients Association we support kidney patients in Hampshire, West Sussex, Wiltshire and The IOW who are on some form of treatment for renal failure. We organise a variety of events to help patients including meetings and social events. We represent kidney patients both locally and nationally to promote their care.
Free Membership for all Patients and their Close Relatives being treated at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham and at associated Satellite Units in Hampshire and surrounding counties.
The Federation is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 1106735. It is the national organisation for Kidney Patient Associations attached to renal units. The Federation provides information and support to kidney patients and their carers, including medical information for children and their families.
Kidney Research UK is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 252892. It provides information for patients, raises awareness of kidney-related issues, and funds research into the causes and prevention of kidney disease.
We provide support for more than 100 patients every week and invest over £3 million each year in patient grants. We provide practical and emotional support, funding patient research projects and improving care services. We’re here to give our total support to help improve the quality of life for everyone affected by kidney disease.
The British Kidney Patient Association is a national charity providing advice, information and support to improve the quality of life for everyone affected by kidney disease. The charity provides grants to individual patients in times of financial difficulty, offers support and advice, including an advocacy service with the NKF, and has a confidential telephone counselling service.
