The Earl of Southampton Trust, Titchfield
The Earl of Southampton Trust, Titchfield is an amalgamation of five charities, the oldest of which dates back to 1597. The Charity works in the ‘Ancient Parish of Titchfield’ to provide almshouses grants and relief for those in need. The Charity works principally in Titchfield, Stubbington, Warsash, Locksheath, Park Gate and Lee on the Solent. The Early of Southampton Trust seeks to ensure that it make a real difference to its beneficiaries and makes a positive impact on people’s lives.
Applications must be supported by a recognised agency (e.g. Social Services, Health Visitor etc) and are usually means tested. Please see their website for more information.
They also have a day room offering home cooked lunches. All pensioners living within the area covered by the Trust are welcome for tea, coffee, lunch or just a chat with like minded company. Service is offered Monday to Friday, lunch must be booked in advance by calling 01329 847923.
